My name is Emma, I'm eighteen years old, and I live in a small town in Germany. After finishing school, I feel lost. I did poorly in my studies, and I don't have any special skills or plans for the future. My parents always insisted on me going to university and pursuing a serious career, but that wasn't for me. To escape their pressure, I left home. Now, I rent a room on the outskirts of town and work in a café, but I still don't know what I want. Sports bring me joy. Maybe, far away from this small town, I'll finally understand who I want to be and how to find my happiness. There's something else that not many people know about me: I love writing stories. In the evenings, when I'm alone, I write my thoughts down in a little notebook that I always carry with me. My stories are usually about adventures in distant lands or about people breaking out of their routines to experience something meaningful. I've never shown my stories to anyone because I'm not sure if they're good enough.
